Diane Lewis

Although Diane lives in Eugene, Oregon now with her husband and daughter, she grew up in California. She has had an interest in art all her life, painting watercolors as a child and as an adult, painting Plein Aire paintings in the Willamette Valley. The Willamette Valley has also been an inspiration for Diane’s still life oil paintings of fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers. Her love of painting and nature are reflected in her use of light and in the serene quality of her work.

Diane has taken classes from Tom Browning, Kevin MacPherson and Matt Smith. She is inspired by artists David Laffel, Robert Johnson, Richard Schmid, John Carlson and John Singer Sargent. She has exhibited in the Ryan Gallery, Lincoln City, Oregon and in the Vistra Gallery, Eugene, Oregon.
